And as I continue through the list of questions that people use to find the site, I’ve found this one: Why Are Parcelmonkey So Cheap?
The simple answer is: we keep our overheads down.
The longer answer is that we’ve developed a system that automates most of the process so we make the system more efficent than our competitors. Ineffeciencies and significant levels of human involvement increase costs which would mean that the prices that courier companies and our competitors charge would go up.
We’ve invested a fair amount of money to automated the system so far and as our business has grown we’ve shifted some of the money that we would spend on developing the software into improved customer services. So because we’ve managed to keep our unimportant costs down, we can spend more on important things such as making sure you get help when you need it AND keeping the prices we charge down.
So if you can get a 48hr courier service for less than £5.85, we’d like to know where. And don’t forget, our next day courier service is still only £5.99.
