Reducing Postage Costs

Monday, October 17th, 2011

With the deregulation of the post system and the resultant increase in the number of companies offering software solutions for bulk mailing there big business has seen a significant reduction in their postage costs. But what about the small businesses which can’t afford the time nor the money to implement these solutions – what do they need to do to reduce their postage costs as much as possible?

When it comes to the postage rates it can be a confusing process. If you use the traditional methods you’ll take your parcel out to be posted with absolutely no idea of how much it’ll cost to post. When I used to queue up to post my parcel I’d often shudder at how much it’d cost – and I wasn’t the only one. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

API

We pride ourselves on providing great solutions for people who need business courier services. If you have a website and you’d like seamless integration so that your parcels are automatically booked into our system for the cheapest prices then we’ve got an API for you – it’s easy to set up too and all part of our Supercharged system.

Premier

If you send more than 10 items a week you could quality for the Parcel Monkey Premier service. This will give you prices of just £4.50+vat for our small bag service or from £5.50+vat for parcels up to 10kg.

Consumers

And for ordinary people, what should they do? If you’re looking to post a parcel for Christmas or for any other occasion it’s absolutely essential in this day and age to get the best deal possible.

Regular customers will know that we offer incredibly postage costs within the UK as well as internationally. But when it comes to winter we believe that although our prices are incredibly cheap, the main advantage to using Parcel Monkey is that you can manage all of your Christmas present delivery without actually leaving your home! If you’re collating various presents from a wide range of online stores then it’s as simple as getting them delivered to your home, wrapping them your way, adding your warm messages and then getting them collected by a courier and tracking their progress online.

If you’ve got just a small parcel that you’d like to send to a friend or loved-one then we can get it delivered for you next day for just £4.85 or £5.85 next day for a traditional parcel. We don’t think you can get reliable parcel delivery permanently this cheap.

“Send A Parcel To” …

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Send A Parcel To ... SpamYup. You’ve seen all those websites offering a similar service to ours creating hudreds, if not thousands of pages all targeted in to tricking you into getting you to part with your cash and give it to them. We’re better than that. We prefer to spend our time improving the offering we have and reducing the prices so you can save more.

If you wanted to “send a parcel to” anywhere in the world, Europe, or anywhere in the UK then we’re not going to create a targeted page, we’ll create a tailoured service aimed directly at giving you the best value for money.

If you’re interested in “sending a parcel to” anywhere in the world, we advice you to try those companies that interested in internet gimmickery, but interested in providing a cheap, cost-effective courier service – such as Parcel Monkey.

Opinion – What is the cheapest courier company?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

Courier CompaniesFinding the cheapest courier company is like choosing the cheapest banana. Each supermarket will claim the cheapest prices. But the proof of the fruit is in the eating. We take great strides to ensure that you’ve got access to some of the cheapest courier prices but also from reputable courier companies who solve problems should they arise. Let’s not try and pretend things don’t go wrong very occasionally, but we select the delivery company options which not only offer fantastic value for money, but also gives you the piece of mind when you book a parcel to be delivered.

So, if we had to answer the question, “what is the cheapest courier company” the answer would be “it depends on what you want, and what level of piece of mind you’d like”. We don’t connect with one man bands that may have lower standards and tracking facilities than some of our esteemed partners.

If you did want to compare our courier prices with others, then feel free to do so. You can get the latest prices, based on your requirements here.
