Of course, if you need to pop out, and there’s nothing that you can do about it then the world isn’t going to fall around our ears. It just makes things a touch more complicated when it comes to tracking collections online.
If you miss a collection, you can rebook, or even take the parcel to your local depot (you can find the details if you log in and select the appropriate order). Obviously this means that the courier would have visited your address for nothing – even though there may be a parcel to collect, but the courier cannot gain access to it. In this situation we would be charged for a wasted journey, so it’s understandable why we’d prefer you to be in for collection. It also means that you don’t have to drive out to the local depot, which might not be as close as you may think.
